My Story

Hello My Name is Nicholas Redington, I am an Artist living and working out of Salt Lake City, Utah. I moved to Salt Lake City from Saint Albans, West Virginia, right out of high school in 2009. Originally Studying Architecture, but quickly changed focus to Fine Art with an emphasis in painting and drawing. While attending the University of Utah Fine Arts program one of the last classes that I attended was a Murals class where the class painted a mural for Our lady of Lords Catholic School and three backdrops for the University of Utah Ballet, in The Utah Opera production bay. During so I was asked by the head scenic artist of Utah Opera, to help finish the production that they were currently working on, which led me into the theater arts, right around the time i graduated. I found myself loving working on such a large scale and being able to work collaboratively with many other talented artist. Four the past four years or so I have been doing mostly scenic art, but currently trying to refocus on fine art. Make sure to check out my newest series under way Urban Motion.
